Over the Whitsun weekend of 22 to 25 May 2026, the grounds of the Reit- und Fahrverein für Ahrensbök und Umgebung e.V. once again became a meeting point for riders from across the region. The Pfingstturnier is one of the fixtures of equestrian sport in northern Germany — featuring show jumping, dressage, and a stage for up-and-coming talent.
DATO-IT supported this year's tournament with a sponsorship contribution. An event like this is only possible thanks to the dedication of many volunteers, clubs, and supporters — and we were pleased to join the other sponsors in taking on a share of responsibility for the region we work in.
Two Second-Place Finishes for Neele Waitschulies
From our perspective, the sporting highlight was clear: Neele Waitschulies truly delivered at the Pfingstturnier — 2nd place in the Class A style jumping and 2nd place in the Class A jumping against the clock. Congratulations!
As a sponsor of events like this, we see first-hand what targeted support can achieve: young talents get a stage, and local clubs can grow. It was great to be part of it.
Why This Club in Particular?
Behind every tournament lie hundreds of hours of volunteer work: setting up the arenas, preparing the obstacles, behind-the-scenes organization, catering, coordinating the judges. It is this hands-on mentality — people who make things happen without having to be asked — that we identify with as a company.
What won us over in particular was the club's commitment to developing young talent: young riders entering the course for the first time, young horses gaining their first tournament experience. Moments like these only happen when a club is willing to invest in its grassroots.
