24/7 shop container: fresh produce from Albert Wilts around the clock

Albert Wilts e.K. in Upgant-Schott has stood for fresh fruit and vegetables from the Brookmerland region since 1958 — a family business in its fourth generation that, alongside its own market stalls, supplies restaurants and hotels as far as the island of Norderney. With a new shop container on the company premises, customers will soon be able to buy the fresh assortment around the clock. For staff-free operation, though, the newly placed container still needed the complete store technology: network, reliable access at any time of day or night, self-checkout and a camera system.

While the container was being placed and fitted out, together with our partner HT Shop Solutions we installed and commissioned the complete IT and store technology.

• Network & Wi-Fi in the container — the foundation for access, checkout and cameras
• Sentra AI Entrance at the glass door: entry by bank card, at any time of day or night
• Sentra AI SmartStore as self-checkout: scan items yourself and pay by card — with integrated age verification
• Camera system with a live monitor in the sales area, keeping an eye on the shop around the clock
• Full commissioning and functional testing of the technology ahead of the opening

The new shop container in Upgant-Schott is technically ready to go: access, checkout, cameras and network are up and running — day and night, as the illuminated glass front shows. The opening is coming up — then fresh produce from Albert Wilts will be available around the clock, seven days a week.
