An airport keeps no opening hours — planes leave early, delays end late, and the hunger in between follows no flight schedule. The brief was a store that's there exactly when travellers need it: around the clock, secure and without permanently present staff. The fact that all of this took shape inside a security zone — where not every cordless drill simply strolls through the door — didn't make things any more relaxed, but it never got boring either.

We supplied the access, security and control technology and orchestrated it with Sentra AI, our in-house development — hardware and software from a single source, right in the terminal.

Travellers help themselves around the clock — before the early flight, after the late landing, in the waiting time between two gates. Access, cameras and operation all run centrally through Sentra AI, and if something does get stuck, we're there via remote maintenance — this time without another trip through security.
