Kiosk Tungeln becomes the Tungeler Markt
In Tungeln, together with HT Shop Solutions, we fitted out the former kiosk as the Tungeler Markt in a single day — with digital access, self-checkout with age verification, a camera system and its own website.
Challenge
The kiosk in Tungeln, a village within the municipality of Wardenburg, has new management and has been fully renovated. As the Tungeler Markt it is to keep supplying the village with everyday essentials: groceries, toiletries, kiosk classics, cold drinks and snacks. Shopping now works with digital access and a self-checkout. The store needed the right technology for that — and a website to let the village know about the opening.
Solution
On 15 October 2026 the store was set up in a single day. Together with our partner HT Shop Solutions we installed and commissioned the store technology. A camera under the ceiling captured the whole day as a time-lapse.
- Sentra AI Entrance with readers at the entrance and exit for digital access
- Self-checkout: customers scan their items themselves and pay right at the till, with an age check for age-restricted products
- Camera system with monitors in the sales area
- The website tungeler-markt.de with an opening countdown, the setup time-lapse and answers to the most common questions
Result
By the evening of setup day the store was in place — from the first box to the finished shop, the whole day can be watched as a time-lapse on tungeler-markt.de. On 23 October 2026 the Tungeler Markt on Oldenburger Straße celebrates its opening. We support the access system via remote maintenance.
